The Hall of Masks
We asked a harder question — what if masks weren't just rank badges, but artifacts worth collecting? So we filled a whole Hall with them.
A mask started as a simple marker of your league. But the idea was too good to leave there. What if every league held not one mask but many — each unique, each worth chasing in its own right? That question became the Hall of Masks.
We carved ten to fifteen unique masks into every league — over seventy faces in all. No two are alike: each has its own portrait, its own character, its own place in the hierarchy of the Shadow City. Some are grim, some ornate, some unsettling; together they form a gallery you unlock as you rise.
A mask is unlocked by reaching its league and claimed with Gold. You don't need them all to compete — a single mask per league is enough to fight. But the deepest collections belong to the city's elite, and everyone can see what you've gathered. A full shelf is a statement that takes real time to build.
Beyond their look, masks pull weight in a fight — a steady edge that grows with their tier, including a sharper critical-hit chance on the higher faces. Collecting becomes its own kind of progression, one that keeps mattering long after the Chronos has fallen.
The Hall turned a reward into a reason to stay. There is always one more face to claim.
