1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how White Colony Kft. uses cookies and similar technologies on the Fantasy Duel platform available at https://fantasyduelgame.com and the game service at play.fantasyduelgame.com, together with related pages, accounts, payment flows, the Legendary Market, and support features operated by us (the "Platform").

It describes what cookies are, which categories of cookies may be used on the Platform, why they are used, how long they last, and how you can manage your choices.

3. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online service. They let the Platform recognise your device, keep you signed in, remember settings, maintain security, and support technical operation.

We also use similar technologies — in particular browser local storage and session storage (used, for example, to keep you signed in, store your game session, and remember interface and sound preferences), as well as server logs. Where these technologies serve a purpose similar to cookies, this Policy applies to them in the same way.

Cookies can be set by us ("first-party cookies") or by providers whose services operate on the Platform, such as hosting, authentication, or payment providers, or — only with your consent — our analytics provider Google ("third-party cookies").

4. Categories of Cookies

(a) Strictly Necessary Cookies — in use
These technologies are required for the Platform to work and are used at all times. They support:

keeping you signed in to your Fantasy Duel account;
maintaining your game and account session;
protecting your account against unauthorised access;
supporting secure checkout and payment flows;
remembering essential interface state and, where shown, your cookie choices;
detecting bots, fraud, misuse, and technical faults.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the Platform cannot function properly without them. You can block them in your browser, but signing in, playing, and paying will stop working.

(b) Functionality and Preference Cookies — limited use
Preference technologies remember choices you make, such as music and sound settings or interface state. On the Platform these are stored mainly in local storage. Where a preference is needed to deliver something you asked for, it is treated as strictly necessary; any purely optional preference technologies will be used only where permitted by law.

(c) Analytics and Measurement Cookies — optional (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), on the website fantasyduelgame.com and in the game at play.fantasyduelgame.com. It helps us understand how visitors use the Platform — for example which pages are visited, how long a session lasts, the type of device and browser, and the approximate country or city. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.

Google Analytics is optional and runs only after your consent. Until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no Google Analytics cookie is set. If you click "Decline", Google Analytics is not used at all. The cookies concerned are listed in Section 8.

(d) Targeting and Advertising Cookies — not used
We do not use targeting or advertising cookies and do not allow advertising partners to place cookies on the Platform. If this ever changes, this Policy will be updated first and such cookies will be used only with your consent where required by law.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

(a) Cookie Banner and Cookie Settings
On your first visit, the website and the game show a cookie banner with two equal buttons, "Accept" and "Decline". Your choice is stored in the wc_consent cookie on the fantasyduelgame.com domain, so it applies to both the website and the game.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer or the "Cookie Settings" button in the game. This deletes the wc_consent cookie and the Google Analytics cookies and shows the banner again. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off, as the Platform cannot operate without them.

Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies and local storage will affect login, saved sessions, and payments.

6. Cookies and Personal Data

Some cookies and similar technologies involve personal data — for example your IP address, device and browser information, session identifiers, or account activity. Where that is the case, we process the data in accordance with our Data Protection and Privacy Policy, the GDPR, and applicable Hungarian data protection law.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use cookies for cross-site tracking.

7. Third-Party Cookies

A small number of cookies may be set by providers whose services are built into the Platform — in particular authentication, hosting, payment, and fraud-prevention providers — strictly to deliver those functions. These providers process data under their own privacy and cookie notices, which we recommend reviewing where relevant.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics cookies are set by our analytics provider, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google acts as our processor under its data processing terms. Data collected by Google Analytics may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision, and Google additionally uses Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not permit third-party advertising or social-media tracking cookies on the Platform.

8. How Long Cookies Last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies and local storage entries remain on your device for a set period or until deleted — for example, an authentication token may persist so you stay signed in between visits.

The cookies we set by name are:

wc_consent — first-party, strictly necessary. Stores your cookie choice ("granted" or "denied") for the website and the game (domain .fantasyduelgame.com). Expires after 180 days.
_ga — Google Analytics, optional, set only after your consent. Distinguishes one browser from another so that visits can be counted. Expires after 2 years.
_ga_<ID> — Google Analytics, optional, set only after your consent. Keeps the state of the current session. Expires after 2 years.

Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months and is then deleted automatically.

We configure cookies and storage to last no longer than reasonably necessary for their purpose, and you can clear them at any time through your browser.

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, Platform features, service providers, or legal requirements. The current version is always available on the Platform; material changes may be announced on the Platform or by email where appropriate.
