Tools to Turn the Tide

Some duels can't be won on the read alone. A shelf of battle consumables now sits in the Shop for the fights that push you to the edge.

As the Gauntlet grew crueller, raw skill stopped being enough on its own. The hardest foes can grind you down no matter how well you read them. So we added consumables — single-use tools you bring into a fight to tilt a losing exchange back your way.

The Healing Crystal is the lifeline: one use restores half your health outright. The Health Potion is the steadier option — a smaller mend you can reach for several times across a single battle, keeping you alive through a long war of attrition.

Two tools turn defence into offence. The Spell Scroll unleashes direct arcane damage, unlocked once you've broken the Ancient Dragon. The Binding Sigil stuns your foe outright and stalls their next blow, opening after the Necromancer Lord — a moment of control in a fight that otherwise never pauses.

For the all-or-nothing plays, the Bloodrage Elixir raises your damage by half for three rounds, unlocked past the Abyssal Serpent — spent at the right moment, a stalemate becomes a rout. And when the worst happens, the Resurrection Rune drags you back from a death you'd already taken.

Every one of these is a premium item, stocked in the Shop, and each is limited per battle — you can't simply spam your way to victory. Used at the right moment, they don't win the duel for you. They make sure a hard-won fight stays won.
